I feel like I'm on a 'testing' crusade... every day I receive 20-30 emails from various marketers; some good, some not so good. What continues to be surprising is the amount of emails that I receive that have something inherently wrong with the email.

Solution: It is really simple to avoid these issues. Step one is to simply test the email prior to sending it - most importantly, test the email in different email clients and browsers, as your testing results may vary.
