Yes, even email marketers make mistakes... but this one could have easily been avoided with a little bit of testing....

The classic "Dear {blank}," - the {blank} being the absence of the first name of the subscriber receiving the message.

We have had this issue happen as well. Here is an odd tip if you send the wrong email.
1. Use it as an opportunity to interact with your database apologize and resend the email.
2. Remember it's sometimes not your direct response from your email that creates the business.
3. Sometimes it's following up with the email based on it's tracking with a phone call or additional email.
